Elyria Hospitality Center is  a non-profit organization that provides food, clothing and other miscellaneous goods to those in need in Elyria, Ohio.

ORGANIZATION SEEKING

Community minded professionals to serve on their talented Board of Trustees. Although always seeking members of varied talents, the current needs

are for those interested in assisting to raise community awareness and also work with us to continue to grow our Board with community representatives to continue to represent the diverse population that we serve.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A BOARD MEMBER

As we continue to grow our organization a Board member should be willing to work with us and guide us as we reach out to our community.  Be a present and active participant in our Board Meetings, become knowledgeable of our organizations policies and practices, and help us continue to grow and improve. Board members are required to volunteer with our pantry as a way to become familiar with our organizations needs, and better able to aid in the continuation of our mission.

MEETING DATES/TIMES/LOCATIONS

The Board meets a minimum of three times a year as called by the Board Chair. Meetings are held on either Mondays or Thursdays, at 12:15 PM after the pantry closes for the day.

We are a non-profit organization that provides food, clothing and other miscellaneous goods to those in need in Elyria, Ohio.
Our hours of operation are Monday and Thursday. The food pantry is open from 10am until Noon, the clothing room is open from 10am until 11:45. The food pantry is open to residents of Elyria, Ohio. Clients must bring a photo ID and proof of residency, but we also serve the homeless population. Clients are invited to access the food pantry every 30 days “date-to-date”; this is NOT once a month; must have at least 30 days between visits. The clothing room may be utilized every 14 days.
